UV Beads 50pk

This pack of 50, 8 mm diameter plastic beads is normally white but changes to purple when exposed to UV radiation. The colour change occurs within seconds in sunlight and within minutes in dull daylight, making them ideal for investigating UV content in different light sources.

Learners can also use the beads to test the effectiveness of sun creams, filters, and protective materials. The beads revert to white after about ten minutes in darkness and can be reused.

Not suitable for children aged under 3 years old.
